Lego’s answer to Minecraft has a price, but you can save money by buying it early.
Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment announced today that Lego Worlds will cost $25 when it launches on February 21 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Lego Worlds will compete against Minecraft, a similar block-building experience that has become one of the most popular games in the world. Minecraft costs a little more at $27.
Right now, Lego Worlds is available in its Early Access state on Steam for $15. Once the full game comes out, the Early Access version will upgrade to it at no additional cost. So if you think you’re going to buy this game for PC, you can save yourself $10 by purchasing it now. Lego World has been in Early Access since June 2015.

“Environments and creations are brought to life in any way fans can imagine, either by building brick by brick, placing down enormous prebuilt Lego structures, or by using wondrous tools that let you paint and shape the landscape,” Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment detailed in a press release sent to GamesBeat. “Lego Worlds’ online multiplayer functionality allows players to explore each other’s worlds together, create together, and engage in cooperative and competitive play experiences that players can build themselves.”
Minecraft has sold over 100 million copies across all of its platforms. If Lego Worlds can tap into some of that market,, Warner Bros. Will have a big hit.
