EVERYONE'S TALKING

• Three more. As we head into the weekend, a quick update on the latest round of women to be tapped by President-elect Donald Trump for a role in his administration, transition team, or party:

Oracle co-CEO Safra Catz: Yesterday, Catz (No. 10 on Coins2Day's MPW list) announced that she will join Trump's transition team—though an Oracle spokesperson made it clear that the chief plans to remain at the tech giant throughout the process.

Fox News analyst Monica Crowley: Crowley will join the new administration as senior director of strategic communications for the National Security Council. She says she will no longer appear as a TV analyst and will likely stop hosting her weekend radio program.

Michigan Republican Party chairwoman Ronna Romney McDaniel: Trump has named McDaniel, the niece of Mitt Romney, to a senior post at the RNC. Unlike her uncle, she was a staunch Trump supporter throughout the campaign—and has been credited with helping him win the state.

• Yahoo boo-boo. After the latest massive hack against Yahoo, which will be investigated by the FBI, Verizon is demanding new terms on its planned purchase of the company's internet business. Meanwhile, Sen. Mark Warner (D-VA) says he intends to investigate the "weak" cyber security practices of the Marissa Mayer-led company.

• Catz in, Whitman out. Coins2Day's Barb Darrow notes HPE CEO Meg Whitman was among the big players excluded from Trump's Wednesday tech forum. While Whitman's campaigning for Hillary Clinton may have had something to do with the snub, Apple CEO Tim Cook, who also stumped for the Democrat, did make the guest list. Coins2Day

• Sending Trump the bill. Elizabeth Warren is one of a group of five Democratic senators who plan to release a bill that would require Donald Trump to divest assets that risk a conflict of interest and place the proceeds in a blind trust, as well as require his appointees to step aside from official decisions that could benefit him. While there is essentially zero chance that the bill will make it through the GOP-controlled Senate, it's being read as a sign that Dems plan to keep pushing Trump on ethics questions. Politico

• Warren 2020? In more Warren news, the senator will take a seat next year on the Senate Armed Services Committee, causing some to speculate that she's burnishing her foreign policy credentials to prepare for a run for national office. Time

• Talking it up. This week on Broad Strokes, Anne VanderMey joins me to talk Carly Fiorina, Wonder Woman, and Roger Ailes. Coins2Day

• How short is too short? Dozens of female employees arrived at the Israeli Knesset this week in above-the-knee attire to protest what they said was the Knesset guards’ sudden enforcement of a longstanding dress code that bans, among other things, short skirts and dresses. New York Times

• After Angie. After Angelina Jolie wrote a New York Times essay about her decision to have a double mastectomy, genetic tests related to breast cancer risk spiked. The problem? Many women ended up getting tests they didn't need, causing unnecessary expense and worry. Washington Post

• Good to great. Mary Daly, SVP and associate director of research at the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco, writes about how, even as a gay women working in a male-dominated field, she fell into the trap of believing that the organization's diversity was "pretty good"—and how she ultimately pushed it to the next level. Medium

• Good goods. This list of the "top 10 innovations that made women's lives better in 2016" includes retailer MM.Lafleur, Thinx period underwear, and telehealth company Maven Clinic. Fast Company
