A Tesla owner who heroically used his Model S to slow down an out-of-control vehicle on Germany’s Autobahn is being rewarded for his good deeds.

Tesla CEO Elon Musk tweeted Wednesday that the company will pay to repair the Model S.

The incident, which was reported by Muenchner Merkur, began when the Tesla driver spotted a Volkswagen Passat swerving on the Autobahn near Munich. When the Tesla driver drove next to the vehicle, he saw a man slumped over the wheel.

The Tesla driver moved his Model S in front of the Passat and applied the brakes to slow down and eventually stop the vehicle. Once the Tesla driver was able to stop the out-of-control car, he administered first aid to the man, who reportedly had a stroke.

The German newspaper says the man has since recovered. Total damage to both vehicles was estimated at about 10,000 euros ($10,597).

Minutes after tweeting the congratulations, Musk sent out several other tweets that contained his most pointed criticism yet of President Donald Trump’s immigration ban. The tweets were quickly deleted. Musk later explains, also via Twitter, that they were earlier drafts that he accidentally published.

Why did @elonmusk just delete his Tweets regarding the #Muslimban? They were sound: pic.twitter.com/K4MXqKCb5w

they were earlier drafts that I accidentally published. I said the same thing a week already.
