Those interested in attending Apple’s annual developer confab will want to act quickly.
Apple will open Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) registration at 1 p.m. ET on Monday. Interested developers can go to the company’s WWDC page and register for tickets, though Apple was quick to note that a registration is not a ticket. Instead, the company will be offering tickets by “random selection” to the registrants. Those who are selected will be charged $1,599 to attend the show.
In order to register, prospective attendees need to be an Apple (AAPL) Developer Program or Apple Developer Enterprise Program member as of Feb. 16, 2017. Anyone who signed up for the programs after that date is not eligible for registration. Those who are eligible must maintain good standing with their membership through the end of the show in June.

WWDC is Apple’s annual developer event where it announces new versions of its most popular operating systems, including iOS, macOS, and watchOS. Apple also has more than 1,000 engineers on hand to discuss different topics with developers, and hosts several breakout learning sessions during the show.
Apple announced in February that this year’s WWDC will be held between June 5 and June 9. But unlike previous WWDC events, this show won’t be hosted in San Francisco. Instead, the company has moved its developer confab to the McEnery Convention Center about an hour south in San Jose, Calif.
The move allows Apple to host WWDC closer to its new headquarters, Apple Park, which it plans to open next month. In fact, Apple noted that this year’s WWDC will be “just minutes” from Apple Park and the company’s marketing chief Phil Schiller told Apple-tracking blog The Loop earlier this year that the show was moved to San Jose because of its proximity to the new headquarters.
Those who can’t attend the show will be able to livestream sessions and other content through a dedicated WWDC app or the Apple Developer website.
