The woman who was forcibly removed from a Southwest Airlines flight Tuesday was arrested and charged with a number of offenses.

College professor Anila Daulatzai was removed from the flight after she claimed to have a life-threatening allergy of dogs, two of which were already on the flight. She was asked to leave the plane after she did not show a medical certificate proving her allergy, according to WBAL-TV. Daulatzai refused, prompting her removal, which was caught on video by another passenger.

Daulatzai was charged with disorderly conduct, failure to obey a reasonable and lawful order, disturbing the peace, obstructing and hindering a police officer and resisting arrest, Lt. Kevin Ayd of the Maryland Transportation Authority Police told the Los Angeles Times.

Southwest responded to the incident by apologizing, and said they would contact the customer directly.

The incident comes months after a video surfaced of a passenger being forcibly removed from a United Airlines flight. The passenger, who had a bloody face and concussion, later settled a lawsuit with the airline.
