Stranger Things officially returns to Netflix October 27th, and this season the Upside Down is also coming to somewhere new: Lyft.
To celebrate the premiere of Season 2 of the show, the ride-sharing company is launching a special “Strange Mode.” Riders in Los Angeles and Philadelphia can select “Strange Mode” when requesting a ride to score a “free ride to the Upside Down” on October 27th or 28th.
Based on the show, we’re not sure that’s a place you actually want to go. The demo video of the ride doesn’t exactly make it look all that pleasant either (except apparently you get a free waffle):
In addition to the terrifying rides, Lyft has also branded the digital representations of its cars in Stranger Thing s fare. So you might have a waffle or a set of Christmas lights headed to pick you up rather than a Prius.
