The world’s most popular streaming devices now carry the cord cutting service of America’s biggest video streaming app.

Amazon’s FireTV has launched YouTube TV on most devices, giving cord cutters another option to bypass cable and satellite companies.

YouTube TV subscribers can now watch over 70 live channels on their Fire TV Stick (second generation), Fire TV Stick 4K, Fire TV Cube, and all Toshiba, Insignia, Element and Westinghouse Fire TV Edition smart TVs. The app will also work on all previous generation Fire TV devices except the first-gen Fire TV stick and Fire TV models.

“We are excited to give Fire TV fans more choice than ever to watch live TV content on Fire TV,” said Amazon in a statement.

Launched in April 2016 in just five markets, YouTube TV now is available nationwide. Subscribers to the over the top service pay $50 per month for access to live news, sports and entertainment, as well as Cloud DVR storage with no capacity limits. The chief selling point is the ability to watch TV on any screen – TV, phone, tablet or PCs. Users can create six profiles per subscription.

The battle among streaming services is growing more intense as people explore cable alternatives. YouTube faces stiff competition from AT&T’s DirecTV Now, Sony’s PlayStation Vue and Dish Network’s Sling TV.
