The Kansas City Chiefs haven’t been in the Super Bowl since 1970—and that’s making this year’s NFL championship an especially hot ticket.

Secondary market prices for Super Bowl LIV surged 14% once the Chiefs and 49ers were locked in to compete for the 2019-2020 NFL championship, according to TicketIQ. As of Tuesday morning, the cheapest ticket on the site was $4,546 for an endzone nosebleed seat.

As with any big game, there are some ticket prices that are jaw dropping. A single ticket for a corner suite at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami is going for $439,007 on TicketIQ.

Over at TickPick, the average Super Bowl ticket is going for $5,050, an 18% jump over last year’s game (though a bit lower than Super Bowl 52, when the Eagles topped the Patriots).

If history is any indicator, you can expect those prices to rise over the next two weeks, too.

“Currently, this is the second highest average price over the last 10 years, with an asterix [sic],” said TicketIQ in an email. “The highest average price came in 2015, when the market was busted because of speculative short selling, which means there’s an argument that this is the highest ever at current prices. If prices continue to climb, it’s not out of the question that 2020 could break the $10,000 average mark.”

Things are just as robust at Ebay-owned StubHub. Individual ticket prices on that site start at $4,539 and go as high as $16,250. A suite will run a gob-smacking $929,586 (and StubHub has partnered with FinTech company Affirm to let people pay off those tickets for up to a year, with interest.)

SeatGeek prices start at $4,500 and go as high as $47,000.

Super Bowl LIV will be played Feb. 2 starting at 6:30 p.m. ET.
