Some of the most prominent actors from the cast of the hit HBO series Succession will receive compensation increases ahead of its third season, according to a new report.
Jeremy Strong, Sarah Snook, Kieran Culkin, Alan Ruck, Matthew Macfadyen, and Nicholas Braun (of Cousin Greg fame) will receive between $300,000 and $350,000 per episode, according to a report in the Hollywood Reporter published Wednesday. Brian Cox, who plays family patriarch Logan Roy, will receive more. (THR notes that most of the actors were previously making less than $100,000 per episode.)
Succession revolves around the family-controlled media empire Waystar Royco and draws inspiration from real-life media families the Murdochs (of News Corp. Fame) and the Redstones (who control ViacomCBS to this day). HBO—now part of AT&T’s WarnerMedia division—has yet to announce when season three will make its debut, but most industry observers expect it to land this summer, as it has every year prior.
