Netflix
Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga: If you’re seeking a new Will Ferrell comedy, you’re in luck—this new flick arriving at Netflix on June 26 features the comedian opposite Rachel McAdams as an Icelandic pop duo who get the chance to compete in the Eurovision contest. Reviews have been a bit mixed, but if you need a laugh, this may still be worth your time.
Dark: The third and final season of the hit German sci-fi show comes to Netflix June 27. Describing it as a “mind-bending conclusion,” the streamer says the series moves “beyond the concept of space and time.”
Earlier this week, the streaming service also added Eric Andre’s stand-up special Legalize Everything and USA Gymnastics sexual abuse scandal documentary Athlete A. And in case you missed them last week, The Politician (season two) and the seemingly simple, yet addictive Floor Is Lava are now also available to watch.
HBO
I’ll Be Gone in the Dark: The six-part docuseries about true-crime writer Michelle McNamara’s quest to find the Golden State Killer premieres on June 28 at 10 p.m. ET on HBO. Read Coins2Day’s interview with director Liz Garbus and McNamara’s researcher Paul Haynes here.
HBO Max
Both the third season of Search Party (previously on TBS) and the second season of DC Universe’s Doom Patrol arrived on HBO Max earlier this week.
CBS All Access
In case you haven’t had a chance to start watching yet, the second season of Jordan Peele’s Twilight Zone reboot dropped on CBS’s streaming service on June 25.
On VOD
Irresistible: The political comedy written and directed by Jon Stewart, and starring Steve Carell, is available to watch on demand starting June 26. But be warned: Reviews of the satire are not particularly kind.
Meanwhile, Spike Lee’s 1989 film Do the Right Thing is free to stream through Sunday.
