What to watch this weekend on Netflix, Hulu, and more

Between traditional television, video-on-demand releases, and a growing number of streaming services, it can be hard to keep up with what one should watch week to week. Coins2Day is here to help you keep track of new releases as well as the occasional older title worth checking out. Take a look at this weekend’s notable arrivals, a couple you may have missed earlier in the week, and what else is coming soon:

Netflix

Emily in Paris: The new rom-com series starring Lily Collins sees 10 half-hour episodes dropping on the streamer Oct. 2.

Song Exploder: The new documentary series based on the hit podcast of the same name features musicians like Alicia Keys and R.E.M., as they talk about how some of their songs came to be. The series debuts Oct. 2.

Hulu

Monsterland: Just in time for spooky season, this eight-episode horror anthology series comes to Hulu on Oct. 2.

Apple TV+

Tiny World: The nature docuseries narrated by Paul Rudd focuses on some of the world’s tiniest critters and what they do to survive day-to-day. The first six episodes arrive on the streaming service Oct. 2.

On TV

A good amount of broadcast TV returns this weekend. The 10th season of Undercover Boss comes to CBS Oct. 2, airing at 9 p.m. ET.

Documentary Kingdom of Silence, which examines the relationship between the U.S. And Saudi Arabia—juxtaposed with the murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi—comes to Showtime Oct. 2 at 9 p.m. ET.

Sci-fi series Pandora returns to the CW on Oct. 4 at 8 p.m. ET. Over on Showtime, limited series The Good Lord Bird— starring Ethan Hawke—premieres at 9 p.m. ET, while docuseries The Comedy Store—centered on the L.A. Club—premieres at 10 p.m. ET.

Also on Oct. 4, the six-part docuseries First Ladies—narrated by Robin Wright—premieres on CNN at 10 p.m. ET. This is also the night The Walking Dead returns to AMC at 9 p.m. ET with the episode that’s technically its season 10 finale, while The Walking Dead: World Beyond premieres at 10 p.m. ET.
