After muted Easter Sunday celebrations in 2020, many families and communities are hoping to be a little closer together this year, even if that means small groupings of people who have received their COVID-19 shots.

When the egg hunt is done, though, and you begin preparing the day’s big meal, you might inevitably discover you’ve forgotten a key ingredient. Or, after a year of home cooked meals, you might just discover that you would rather avoid the kitchen altogether.

Fortunately, many grocery stores and restaurants will be open on Easter, but if you’re looking to hit a department store, it’s a bit more hit or miss. Here’s a comprehensive look at which stores are open and closed on Easter 2021. (And, as usual, a reminder: Even if a store is listed below as open, it’s a good idea to check with them regarding hours.)
