Apple’s App Store is getting a lot more mellow.

The company has approved an app from cannabis delivery service Eaze that will let people buy pot from their phones.

“Eaze has always been about using the latest developments in technology to make shopping for legal cannabis more accessible,” said Eaze CEO Rogelio Choy in a statement. “It’s hard to overstate how important this is to our company and the industry.”

Eaze has over 2 million registered customers and delivers joints, vapes, edibles, concentrates and other marijuana products to consumers in major cities in California. (The company will begin deliveries in Michigan later this month.) The company does not deliver marijuana itself, but acts as a facilitator. Retailers hire their own delivery staff, which verify the buyer’s identity and age.

The app comes as Apple has recently changed some of its policies on e-commerce functionality in apps. Previously, Eaze customers had to complete transactions by switching over to the company’s website.

Launched in 2016, Eaze has leaned more heavily into weed delivery recently, shutting down its separate platform, Eaze Wellness, which focused on CBD products and sold nationwide

The cannabis market has seen a big bump in sales in the past 18 months, due in part to stay-at-home orders. Legal sales of weed and marijuana products jumped 46% by one report, with total sales of $17.5 billion. Worldwide, sales topped $21 billion.

To date, 19 states have legalized recreational weed, while 36 have medical marijuana programs.
