Mark Cuban said Sunday that he owns less than $500 in Dogecoin, despite being a big advocate for the cryptocurrency.

The billionaire investor disclosed his Dogecoin holdings on Twitter in reply to a user who asked him whether he had more Dogecoin or Bitcoin in his portfolio.

“The Mavs have what we sold in merch,” Cuban said. “I personally own $494 worth of DOGE.”

Back in March, the professional basketball team that Cuban owns, the Dallas Mavericks, became the first NBA team to accept Dogecoin for tickets and merchandise. Cuban also told CNBC last week that the organization will offer special pricing for those paying with Dogecoin during the Mavericks’ summer sale.

A big believer in Dogecoin, Cuban told CNBC Make It last week that Dogecoin is best when used for transactions.

“It’s a medium that can be used for the acquisition of goods and services,” Cuban told CNBC Make It. “The community for Doge is the strongest when it comes to using it as a medium of exchange.”

Some Twitter users criticized Cuban on Sunday for not putting money behind a digital currency that he’s publicly supported in the past.

In response to one critical tweet, Cuban said he never hid anything about his holdings.

“I’ve said all along what I’ve bought or owned,” he said. “Just pay attention to my timeline.”

I don’t pump anything other than Mavs merch. BUT, the DOGEsphere is fun. Their memes are great. They have fun. They make fun of themselves. It’s fun to be part of. Https://t.co/wi6I49yMnL

Cuban said in May that he owned 3,250 Dogecoin with his son. On Sunday, Cuban tweeted, “Between the Mavs and my personal account, it’s less than $15k in DOGE.”

The Shark Tank star became a billionaire after he sold his online video portal company to Yahoo in 1999 for $5.7 billion. Cuban has a net worth of $5.8 billion, according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index.
