Elon Musk, founder of mega-companies like SpaceX, Neuralink, and Tesla has often made headlines because of controversies tied to his professional and private life.

About two years ago, the birth of Elon’s baby boy with musician, Grimes, went viral because of the child’s unconventional name: X AE A-Xii

Now, Grimes just revealed in an interview with Vanity Fair that the couple welcomed another ‘secret’ baby through surrogacy.

Elon is a father to 8 kids.

He and his ex-wife Justin Wilson had 6 kids together: baby Nevada, who died by SIDS at 10 months old, twins Xavier and Griffin, and triplets Kai, Saxon, and Damian.

Toddler X Æ A-Xii (also called X), and newborn baby girl, Y, belong to his current girlfriend, Grimes.

But Grimes is worried about X’s future.

“Whatever is going on with family stuff, I just feel like kids need to stay out of it, and X is just out there. I mean, I think E is really seeing him as a protégé and bringing him to everything and stuff.… X is out there. His situation is like that. But, yeah, I don’t know,” shares Grimes.

Elon brought the 18-month-old on stage at a Time event after being named Time’s Person of the Year. Musk peacefully conversed with Time’s CEO as baby X calmly sat on his lap the whole time and stole the show.

X Æ A-Xii made another appearance during one of Elon’s zoom meetings with the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine.

While Elon acclimates his child to the public eye, Grimes is concerned about how that will affect their son.

When speaking about the sci-fi movie, Dune, which was also the inspiration behind her very first album, Grimes felt that the movie’s character, Paul, was a reflection of her baby X.

In the movie, Paul is a duke’s son who has the weight of becoming a great leader.

“When I see X,” she says, “like, I just know X is going to have to go through all this really [messed up stuff] that sort of mirrors Paul-type stuff. I was just crying my eyes out the whole movie.”
