Frontier Airlines is once again encouraging people to rethink the term frequent flyer.

The carrier has rolled out its all-you-can-fly flight pass for 2024-2025 as well as an automatic upgrade to Elite Silver Status for $499 as part of its holiday promotion, if you purchase by Nov. 28.

The pass, which lets patrons fly from May 1, 2024, through April 30, 2025, allows passengers unlimited free flights (well, technically, they’ll have to pay one cent) to any domestic or international destinations served by the carrier, including Puerto Rico, Mexico and Latin America.

The addition of Silver Status will let those Frontier passengers get free seat assignments and not have to worry about change or cancelation fees. They will, however, have to pay bag fees for their luggage. And flights are subject to availability.

Passholder will have to be flexible, as tickets only become available for booking the day before flight departure for domestic travel and 10 days before flight departure for international travel—and are subject to blackout periods (including, basically, every holiday). Advance booking will carry an additional charge.

And be warned you might not get onto the flight you want.

“Seats available to pass holders are capacity controlled, limited in quantity and are offered on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last,” the airline wrote in a news release.

The pass will also autorenew at the end of the summer unless it’s cancelled—and that renewal rate will likely be higher than $499.

The promotion could appeal to people still seeking revenge travel after the pandemic and those whose schedule allows them the ability to pick up and go on a moment’s notice.

The airline is looking to stay top of mind for travelers after its failed merger last year with Spirit Airlines.
