"KPMG has always gone above and beyond to support me. My fiancé is active-duty military and as a result we've had to move frequently and have been stationed in many places that do not have offices. The firm worked with me to establish a working model that made sense, ensured I had the resources I needed to be successful, never limited my opportunities, and never pressured me to make a decision between the firm and my family. The firm has also allowed me to pursue other interests through rotations."
Employees say:
"We have great initiatives to ensure that employees feel a sense of belonging. [There are] several activities that bring people together. Some examples of these are book clubs, free workout classes, encouraging people to get together outside of work through various meet ups (eg, happy hours). These activities people the chance to network outside of their immediate teams, but can allow themselves to bring their full self to work and meet like-minded people."

Employees say: "Exceptional organization that has provided extensive opportunities and the support required to be successful. My mentors are invested in my professional development and truly care about me as an individual."

Employees say:
"The people I work with absolutely take our values (excellence, integrity, courage, together, for better) very seriously. It is rare that I walk into a supervisor's (i.e. partner's) office with an idea and execution plan that I don't get the go ahead. I can always push back on ideas with more senior people - there is very little ego in my department, we all work towards the common good. The trust, freedom, challenges and community at this firm is truly invaluable to me. And I love that I can visit our offices around the world and work with colleagues around the world daily on Teams and it feels like one firm."
Employees say:
"I have been employed at KPMG for 10 years. I've loved this Firm since the day I started and every day since. I feel the Firm gives individuals the opportunity to show their value and rewards based on their accomplishments. I feel the Firm treats employees as individuals and not just numbers."

Employees say:
"The culture at KPMG is unlike any other culture I've seen or been part of. I have felt welcomed and included since day one, and have always been encouraged and guided to learn more and grow my skillset."

KPMG was not immune to the layoffs that bit the consulting industry widely in 2023 amid an unfavorable climate for deals and advisory services. This year, the company is focusing on AI training for employees; last year, it committed $125 million over the next five years to advance equity in education, health care, and economic opportunities for underserved communities. Last summer, the company launched an internship program for 200 high schoolers to spend three weeks learning from KPMG coaches, mentors, and content developers.
